Groundbreaking in Oersdorf!

Wednesday, 11th of June, marked the official start of construction for our 15 MW / 30 MWh battery energy storage system held in Ahlerstedt (Stade district). A major milestone for Terra One and the energy transition in Germany!

The project was developed fully in-house to ready-to-build (RTB), is fully owned by Terra One, and will be self-optimized in merchant mode using our proprietary Terra AI platform which automatically determines the optimal times to store or release electricity based on real-time demand, pricing, and grid conditions.

📍Location: Ahlerstedt (Oersdorf district), Lower Saxony

⚡️Power: 15 MW

🔋Capacity: 30 MWh, enough to power ~2,500 households for an entire day
