Terra One and Consilium collaborate exclusively on direct PV investments with integrated storage solutions

Berlin/Stuttgart, March 5, 2026 — Terra One Climate Solutions GmbH, technology company for battery storage and AI-based energy trading, and Consilium Gruppe AG, provider of direct photovoltaic investments, are entering into a strategic cooperation. The aim is to systematically combine photovoltaic systems with battery storage systems and to market the generated electricity and storage flexibility on the electricity markets via an integrated multi-market strategy. The partners are thus combining technical storage integration with AI-based trade optimization and opening up additional revenue potential for investors.
Integration of PV and storage: more value for investors
As part of the collaboration, Terra One is taking on the AI-based marketing of electricity and storage flexibility on the German energy markets via its trading platform for storage and renewable energy projects, OneKraftwerk, and supports Consilium in designing, integrating and optimally sizing battery storage systems. Proprietary machine learning models and automated trading systems are used, which place power and storage flexibility, particularly on the short-term intraday continuous market. Through the close integration of technical design and commercial strategy, storage systems are to be integrated into Consilium Group PV projects in a market-optimized manner right from the start, bringing direct PV investments to a new level both economically and technologically.
The Consilium Group has been developing and operating photovoltaic projects with a focus on direct investments for over 15 years. By integrating battery storage systems, the company is expanding its offering to include an additional flexibility component and is specifically developing its existing project pipeline with co-location storage solutions. The spatial and network-technical combination of generation and storage creates synergies in grid connection costs and optimizes marketing revenues per installed megawatt. The strategic partnership gives Consilium investors access for the first time to AI-based marketing strategies, which were previously reserved primarily for institutional investors and suppliers.
“Through the cooperation with Terra One, our investors benefit from algorithmic trading strategies and in-depth storage know-how. The close integration of technical design and AI-based marketing enables more efficient use of storage systems and sustainably increases the economic performance and value of our projects,” says Daniel Ramsperger, member of the Finance & Investments Management Board at Consilium Gruppe AG.
AI-based marketing and market optimization
Battery storage systems are becoming increasingly important as a result of increasing price volatility and growing renewable generation. They make it possible to flexibly move electricity, use price signals and cushion grid bottlenecks. Multi-market optimization, which takes into account various electricity and flexibility markets in parallel, is considered a central lever for economic business management.
“Battery storage systems are a central component of the energy revolution and crucial for the integration of renewable energy into energy markets,” explains Dennis Hager, Senior Manager Business Development at Terra One. “Together with the Consilium Group, we are integrating our AI-based trading and storage expertise into a high-quality PV project pipeline and opening up additional value creation potential for investors. ”
Terra One brings its trading expertise and experience in financing and developing storage projects to the cooperation. The company markets its own systems as well as storage and generation plants from third parties. Through this exclusive partnership, the Consilium Group plans to implement a project pipeline of over 200 MWp of photovoltaic and around 150 MW of storage capacity over the next three years.
With this cooperation, both companies are responding to the growing importance of integrated storage solutions in the German energy market. The aim is to make direct PV investments even more resilient to market changes and to achieve additional added value through systematic flexibility marketing.
